For both my benefit, and the benefit of you dear reader/follower/fan, I wanted to lay out the projects that I'm working on currently, that I suspect will be some of the next things to be officially published and released.
I also want to take a quick second and remark about how excited I am to have redhoodiegames.com!
I've made some revisions and updates to the Trouble In Turnrock - RHG001 module, as well as the playtest version of my first homebrew character class, The Guru. I'm also still exploring and considering naming conventions for the product ID portion of titles of official publications. Currently, I was going to release everything under RHG###, but then the Guru class would have the same designation as the first full module so, I want some distinction.
In admiration and homage to Gary Gygax's naming scheme, I'd like to do something like RHGA##, to denote appendix/ancillary/additional content, or RHGS## for a series, though I'm not certain what system I'll land on. If you have suggestions please feel free to share them (easiest is probably just to tweet at us)!
I've also got to decide what to do with all the blog posts from the old site. I could move them over, but I've wanted to be able to add each of them to a more complete compendium or collection. So, what will probably end up happening is that I'll move all of them over, and then compile the Character Concepts into a Character Catalog, featuring full length character backstories and ready-to-play character sheets. Future backstories and writing will be available on the blog, but I'm going to make future character sheets Patron only.
I've got a sort of idea of how I'll move forward production-wise. I'm still committed to the daily blog update. I'd like to do at least a weekly post like I used to, so something like a character concept, xdy, adventure hooks, magic item, etc. Then the first of my monthly goals is to make at least one Patron-only post, which will likely be a ready-to-play character sheet for a month or two. The second is to publish something for sale on DriveThruRPG. This month I'm leaning towards the Character Catalog that I mentioned earlier, but I'll keep you posted.
That's where I'm at. So hopefully this helps us both know what's supposed to be going on over here!
